Fire And Age

The so-called miraculous powers of a great master are a natural accompaniment to his exact understanding of subtle laws that operate in the inner cosmos of consciousness. ~ Paramahamsa Yogananda

Sky, a gray monotone
layered only by low fog
and rising chimney smoke.

Grasses are rain-soaked
tiny orange flowers dot
their soft jade carpets.

Inside is peace and stillness …
for in due course
everything follows the Light.

Perceiving those forces
that have moved us all along,
we resist them no more.

Golden wisdom
born of fire and age.
